Synopsis: Decades after the accidental drowning of her twin sister, Margaret returns to her family home, finding herself drawn into an alternate dimension where her sister may still be alive. In a dark fairy tale like spooky spin on “Alice in Wonderland,” this fantasy thriller takes Margaret (in a magnificent performance by Carlson Young, who also directed and co-wrote the story) down a wormhole into another dimension, where she believes her sister is not dead, but trapped. In the hopes of rescuing her, Margaret finds herself in a psychedelic landscape of horror and illusion that coalesce in a film that is gorgeous to watch, beautifully acted (with Udo Kier and Dermot Mulroney shining in supporting roles), and backed by a haunting score, to create a mesmerizing, emotional experience.
